Children’s Issues

KSS is working on Integrated Child Protection Project in collaboration with UNICEF in the slums of Moradabad district. This project aims to reduce the death rate of zero to two month old children. To make the project a success, a proposal for a mobile unit has been sent to both the State and the Central Government.

A survey was conducted to stop child labour in the village of Sandalpur block of Kanpur Dehat. The survey marked the children working on others’ land and getting money or grain for the labour they put in. Their details were provided to the district level officials. KSS is providing free education to 50 such children. It is also taking care of their health issues.
