Health
Health interventions are in the domain of mother and child healthcare. KSS organises health camps to facilitate vaccination of new born babies and pregnant women. Women with one month of pregnancy are examined and their blood samples are collected to know the haemoglobin count. The expectant mothers are told about breast feeding and child care. The examined women, if found suffering anaemia or fever, are referred to the District Hospital.
The organisation has conducted different programmes under RCH and National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in 12 villages of Moradabad district and six slums of Kanpur Nagar in 2007-08.
Under NRHM, KSS has provided training to Asha Bahus (village level health workers) in Farrukhabad, Kannauj and Moradabad districts.
